ASK A QUESTION I saw written, "he cambiado de trabajo cuando llevaba solo 3 semanas" since a specific amount of time is mentioned should it not be lleve with the little thing over the (e).

Pretérito perfecto simple:llevé
Pretérito imperfecto:llevaba
I would recomend to you to forget about the difference between both. You can use one or the other and the meaning is the same, perhaps not in an strictly gramatical sense, but how cares about that?
In Spain the use of one or the other is choosen by "geographical reasons". People in the north use more the simple forms of the verbs, the opposite in the south. So, you see, no big deal with one or the other.
By the way, the little thing over the e is a TILDE
