How do you say a negative number in Spanish, such as -10?

Maybe add menos in front of a number. -10 would be menos diez. I am not sure.

  • Are you sure that is right? Wouldn't that mean to subtract 10? I heard somewhere that you can say "diez negativo", but I don't know if that is correct either. - Lemonade Jan 15, 2010
