So Now We're Even

Question

I was looking up a translation for "You killed my dog and I killed your cat, so now we're even" just to get the "we're even" part. I got three different translations for "we're even". There was "somos constantes", "estamos a mano" and something with "incluso". So, which would be the best actual translation?

PS- I didn't kill anyone's cat, nor did they kill my dog.

"We are even" is equal to "estamos a mano" like in the case of the dogs and cats, but if you are talking about a game, a match, you can say "estamos empatados". The first translation you mentioned "somos constantes"doesn't apply to this case.

I might change the word "even" to "equal" in Spanish.

So in English, it would be "Now we are equal!"

Also, to emphasize I would put the exclamation marks.

In español: ¡Ahora Estamos Iquales!

here´s what my dictionary said:

estamos igualados

(and in English "even-stevens" -- I haven´t heard that in forever!! )
