Thank You, SpanishDict!

Question

I would like to take the time now to thank all of the people on SpanishDict who are on here constantly, whether it be every single day or just when they have the time to. You guys come here constantly to help those who are not as good as you guys are and you share your given knowledge with all of us, and everyday, I think we all learn something from these marvelous people. Sometimes though, we find ourselves taking their knowledge without telling them that we are thankful that they took time out of their busy lives to help us that need it or those who stumble upon it and find ourselves going, "Oh really? I didn't know that...."

So from me and all of those others who are thankful for the knowledge you possess,

Thank you Heidita, Goyo, Nicole, Issabella, Eddy, Qfreed, Izanoni, Gus, Moe, Aloshek, Seitheach, Nizhoni, Chapparito, Sheila, Jeezzle, Dj_Huero, ETC, because there are too many of you guys to name, you guys are awesome and always give us something that we use and take for granted and sometimes you guys don't get the thanks you deserve. Thank you to all of you who have ever helped me that I have forgotten to mention, there are too many of you guys, which makes it all better because the more people that can help others, the better. You guys totally rock!

Couldn't agree more!! Sarah, you literally took the words out of my mouth, yet you said them a lot better!! I've mentioned this before. For all the native speakers and the speakers that are well a bahjillion times more knowledgeable about spanish than I am I too, want to thank you for your due diligence working and helping on this site. I can only hope to continue to learn more spanish!!! Practice makes perfect!!

Well, that was the first time I saw my name listed. I hardly think I deserve that thanks.I make a lot of comments but I don't think of myself helping with Spanish in any big way.

¡Ay! ¡Qué vergüenza! Gracias, Sarah por incluir a mí en tu lista.

But the funny thing is, I am a learner too, and have benefited from what I have seen from in her list as well as Sarah herself. I think that is one of the great things about this website. There is such a variety of perspectives to any given topic that we help one another by expressing ourselves.

So I want to add my own "Thanks!" to everyone who has helped me, too. And basically that would include anyone who has ever participated in the SpanishDict forum. Even people like the infamous 'lkpuede' helped me reinforce qualities like patience and self-restraint. (Although there are certainly plenty of other ways to learn these without needing such persons in SpanishDict. Thanks Eddy.)

In the end though Sarah, I agree whole-heartedly with you about how easy it is to take others for granted. And we can all benefit from being reminded to regularly show our gratitude; especially to people whom we see everyday: family, neighbors, friends, etc. This reminded me of a lesson I read last year which I mentioned in this post Palabras que edifican. Giving and receiving commendation are definitely up-lifting.

Yeah this site has kept me learning after I finished real classes. Without it I would have forgot most of the in class stuff. Instead I continue to practice every day.

I agree with you. I am very thankful too for the people at spanishdict.com for being so helpful and patience with me for my lack of knowledge of the spanish language. This website is one of the best websites because I have met some of the friendliest people on this website.
