These are lyrics from Jarabe de Palo's "Bonito" song. I understand the first line, but was does the bolded line literally mean? The reflexive is throwing me off!

"Qué bonito que se está cuando se está bonito, qué bonito que se está. "

This is a metaphor using passive voice. " How beautiful (something) is [outside] when it is beautiful [inside].

I think it could also mean "how pretty you are" if it is using the passive voice.

Mind you continuing my theme, the complete line "qué bonito que se está cuando se está bonito" would be "how pretty you are when you are pretty" which doesn't make a lot of sense. However, I find many song lyrics incomprehensible.

Finally to answer your question exactly, the literal meaning of

"qué bonito que se está" - how pretty that one is.
