It was fast (but not too fast, especially since the written text was provided). In addition the fact that the pronunciation was "de Castilla" will probably be a problem for some (though it shouldn't be much of a problem).
The main point of the clip is, of course, making fun of the distinction between grammatical/natural gender. For speakers of Romance languages, this is not an issue (they accept it as natural/obvious) {nouns have gender but this has nothing to do with the sex of the person(s)/things involved.
The problem is not that you want to make a distinction/dichotomy between male/female but, rather, that you confuse this distinction with the grammatical distinction between masculine/feminine.
Funnily enough this has a similar theme to a post by Heidita in June 2008. Below is the link to that post. Sadly Heidi´s description is missing on the thread question but you will get the general idea from the answers. Plus the fact, if only it were that easy to remove the goodly wife from the household as mentioned in Lorenzo´s link, hehehe.
