What is the verb rule for conjugation? For example, are there sentences that have more than one conjugated verb or is there only one conjugated verb allowed in a sentence?

I'm getting confused because when I attempt to speak or translate a sentence I'm conjugating all the verbs based on the first 'I,you,he/she/it,they' I see.

Perhaps if we had some specific examples we could help you more effectively.

  • For example. Andar. Would I ever have two conjugated andar's in a single sentence? Yo ando a la cantina y ando a la casa. - elsalsero Dec 21, 2009 flag

Of course you can have more than one conjugated verb in a sentence.

Mientras yo hablaba con mi esposa, comenzó a llorar.

Both verbs "hablar" and "comenzar" are conjugated, I agree in different tenses and with different personal pronouns, but still conjugated.
