What is the exact translation of "Amores Perros"? The english title is "Love's a b*tch" while in Greece the title is "Lost loves".

Hmm, this movie certainly has a difficult love affair in it, but it also features a lot of dogs, and in my mind they are central to the story.

I`ve been wondering myself what the title actually means.

Bearing in mind Heitditas answer: I think it has to have some kind of double meaning in relation to this particular movie - the dogs being so vital.

Any thoughts?

Thank you all so much for your answers! Indeed the movie is about bad affairs so it fits perfectly with the spanish title, expressing something very bad. And I do believe there must be a double meaning in it, as it certainly has a lot of dogs and they play an important and maybe even symbolic role in the story. It's such a great movie!
