How do you say "stream of consciousness" in Spanish?

I've used several dictionaries (including this one!) to try to figure this out and thus far have come up only with a literal, word for word translation: corriente de conciencia. Is this correct? Or is there a more proper way to say it? I have to believe that stream of consciousness is a literary device in Spanish just as it is in English...Thanks in advance!

monólogo interior (this seems to be the most accepted term)

flujo de conciencia

Also:

Voz de la conciencia, voz interior.

Machine translations are not useful on these kind of translations.
