The video lessons, of course! But I may have a biased opinion.
Can't wait to see what everyone else says.

First, all the writing prompts (word of the day, pictures, etc)
Second, being able to look up lots of words really quickly in the dictionary.
I love that I can double click on any word in the Answers section and get a (usually accurate) translation. I used to avoid looking at any question or answer that was in Spanish because it would take me forever to work out what it said but now with just a few clicks I can usually figure out the meaning. I can't remember which member wrote about this feature in an answer (Moe? maybe) but whoever designed this feature is brillant!
I love the people here and the feeling of a community with a common goal.
I go to the "Respuestas" first. I always learn something unexpected there. I also appreciate the responses I've gotten to my own questions.
This is a great site.
For me the video classes from Paralee and then the Forum and then the translation and reference links.
Just the people here make you so comforted and welcomed. To know that people care about you and want to help you is the thing I like most about this sight. Thank you to all of you who help others out, God Bless You!

I have always learned something new from the participation of members in the Forum. Also I love to help others with their Spanish.
Aparte he hecho amigos valiosos a través de SpanishDict.
¡Me encanta!
primero: la sección de traducción; segundo: el hecho que uno se puede contactar con los demás miembros de spanishdict de muchas formas, incluso por las respuestas.
first: the translating section; second: the fact that one can get in touch with the other members of spanisdict in many ways, even through the answers.
update: i am in south america for the next couple of months! hello everyone!
I am obsessed with this website. I love the videos and the forum. By reading the comments others have posted I have found a lot of other great websites, strategies, and ideas for learning Spanish. Plus, for some reason this website keeps me motivated and makes learning Spanish so much more fun! But the best thing of all...its free!
I like the answer/forum section the best because it allows you to interact with others and also ask about specific topics that only a native would know about. Happy holidays and happy New Year. ![]()
**That I have improved my spanish and my native language skills. My native language is english but it easy to see that learning is a everyday process"

This site is the best individual tool I've seen for learning spanish, but the best part is the dictionary. I have a 3-inch think Barron's dictionary which is no where as good as SD because hardcopy dictionaries don't give definitions for verbs in forms other than the infinitive.
