Hi all I have to read the following passage out in Spanish class tomorrow.It is about the Spanish Christmas evening meal. I will first give you it in English and then my translation: During the main meal, the family will drink beer,wine and cava. After this they usually have a large selection of sweets and cakes. Including turron mazapan y rolles. Later in the evening, it is normal to have hot chocolate and el roscon de reyes. It is always a special evening!

"Durante toda la comida. La Famalia bebera: ceveza,vino y cava. Despues este ellos tienen generalmente una selection grande de dulces y tortas, incluido mazapan,turron y rolles. Mas tarde in la noche, es normal tener un chocolate caliante y el roscon de reyes. Es siempre una noche mut especial !"

I corrected some of your spelling. A native can correct your composition.

Not that I'm doubting your word, but what date is this Christmas dinner taking place? I thought the roscón de Reyes was for Jan. 6th.

I must say Q that I am not a 100% sure wether they call it la cena de navidad or la cena de los reyes Magos, I do know that the children get all their presents on the 6th of Jan and the night before the three kings parade through the streets through the cities and the streets are lined with thousands of people it's a grand spectacle,I have been to it my self several times here in Barcelona.

Normally when you're writting for someone like your friend or something like that, is not necessary write the tilde(the little thing on the a e i o u), or the ¡ and ¿.

I know this stuff, I'm Colombian, the spanish was my only lenguage for 14 years, and still doing it.
