It depends upon context, but mainly, "el or la" are used. smile

"The" ---> "El / La"

"El" para másculino

"La" para femenino

Since "the" is the definite article in English for both singular and plural, one should include "los" and "las".

hay you can say the ether la or el.

  • "hay" is either something you feed livestock or there is/is there in español. I think you meant "hey" and it should have been capitalized please. - Yeser007 Nov 23, 2009 flag
