If are you trying to say "my space is my library," then it would be

"Mí espacio es mí biblioteca."

I don't believe that espacio would change for la biblioteca.

  • The possessive adjective mi has no tilde. The object of the preposition pronoun mí does. - qfreed Nov 23, 2009 flag

How do you mean? "mi espacio" --> both masculine, so the gender matches. "mi biblioteca" --> both feminine, so the gender matches again. So far there don't seem to be grammatical problems.

  • adjectives show concordance to nouns. Mi shows concordance with both nouns becasue it is singular and both nouns are singular. Mi shows agreement with both feminine and masculine nouns as far as gender. - qfreed Nov 23, 2009 flag
  • If you use the long form possessive adjectives espacio mío, biblioteca mía the adjectives show gender concordance. - qfreed Nov 23, 2009 flag
