I saw in the Comercio News about a position that you require as an Arts Ambassador for our country that I want to apply. I am a proffesional artistic designer graduated in the best Institute of my country: Universal Arts, likewise I worked in a cruise carrying the peruvian arts for several countries I think that this is my best background that make me qualified for this job. I´ll be very grateful to get an interview to give you more details about my career.

Very good. I have made a few minor adjustments:
I saw in the Comercio News about a position that you require as an Arts Ambassador for our country that I would like to apply for. I am a professional artistic designer, and have graduated from the best Institute in my country: Universal Arts. Additionally, I worked on a cruise carrying the peruvian arts for several countries and I think that it is my background that makes me qualified for this type of work. I would be very grateful to get an interview to give you more details about my career.
Question, "worked on a cruise", when you say this are you referring to a cruise ship?
Here is another way of saying the same thing:
I saw in the Comercio News about a position that you are offering, an Arts Ambassador for our country. I would like to apply for the position. I am a professional artistic designer, and have graduated from the best Institute in my country: Universal Arts. Additionally, I have worked on a cruise carrying the Peruvian Arts for several countries and I think that it is my background that makes me qualified for this type of work. I would be very grateful to obtain an interview in order to give you more details about my career, as I believe I would be an invaluable asset.
A side note: I personally don't like to use too many contractions like "I'm" or "I'll" when writing more professional type letters such as job interviews, etc. I prefer to use the full words, so "I'll" becomes "I will". This is just my preference, I think it sounds better in my opinion. In everyday letters and writing or normal speaking it doesn't matter though. Some people may disagree, so the choice is up to you.

- Ok, I was going to say you should probably clarify it and say "cruise ship", but I think now that I am not sure and it probably wouldn't matter. - cheeseisyumm Nov 16, 2009 flag
