These are directly from my other question but nobody seemed to answer these parts. Though there were one or 2 things for "D"

B.) When dealing with somebody that annoys you, but you are trying to be respectful.

C.) Useful phrases in an interview to somebody in the government or military.

D.) Phrases to use at a Spanish restaurant.

Hi BBnewgo,

Why don't you ask about the remaining questions in your previous thread? I'll post a link with some useful "restaurant" language.

  • Thank you for doing that, but now I still need the b and the c. - BBnewgo Nov 11, 2009 flag
  • Well, we're not encyclopedias here, are we? ;))) Besides, I personally have no idea about interviewing anyone for a military/government post in English! But maybe Seitheach can help you. - Issabela Nov 11, 2009 flag

You may have asked too many people to do too much work to fulfill your request.

I have a small pocket or purse size book by "lonley planet" that is filled with phrases to be used in a variety of circumstances like social meetings, food, safe travel, border crossing, directions, and on and on. The book has a price of about $8.00 U.S. This book and I'm sure others like it are easily available at a favourite book shop in either the travel section or in the languages section.

You must get one for yourself. They are fabulous little easy readers to read through while on a plane, train or bus. You'll love them.

I hope this is some help to you,

Best regards and happy travels,

Moe

Hi BB

Only one topic per question please. See rule number 2. This post would generate dozens of different phrases.
