Welcome to the forum! Hope you enjoy it and get to know the people around!

Abrazadera stands in general for clamps, as the ones you use for plumbing. Frenos or frenillos are the most correct and standard words for braces you have on your teeth. The word frenos stands also for the breaks in your car.

Hope this helps! Have a wonderful day!

Welcome to the forum, Mark. I believe orthodontic braces, in Spanish, are "frenos en dientes". You might want to wait for others to respond, because I'm not 100% certain.

I was able to find this in our dictionary. Abrazadera, freno para dientes. Check it out, it is under braces.
