Moe's poppy reminded me of this. Last year I was in Kuwait durring this time and all the Bristish soldiers were wearing poppies. The tables in the dining facility were all done up with table cloths and poppies all over them.

Hopefully they do something like that here. Although, I do get two beers on the Marine Corps birthday. Hoorah!

Here is perhaps a clearer image of the poppy Canadians wear on their lapel, coat, sweater jacket or other outerware. It simply speaks to all Canadians "I remember".alt text
