I must have mis-heard this expression: it should be "palmitos" (which is in this dictionary - and also in Collins). I think it is in the sense of "hearts of a palm tree top" which is a luxurious delicacy. And as I was thinking, the English equivalent is "being in clover" i.e. everything OK or just fine, or fantástico ! The Spanish version is probably South American ?
