OK, I confess. I have become an addict to Spanishdict.com. I find that I leave the site up when I am at home; I check back on the site when I pass by the computer just to see what else I can learn. I have started a notebook with expressions and vocabulary that are new to me.

As a retired Spanish teacher who is still very active in the public schools, I love the opportunity to explain grammatical points.

As a person who is older and who is not very technologically savvy, I love finding out about available electronic resources.

A big "Muchísimas gracias" to everyone who makes this site the wonderful learning community that it is.

Spanishdict has taken over my life, and you know what it's welcome, I wanna second language and this is how to get it. (ps, it's a big deal to have a second language if you're English).

I have tried some other sites but after about an hour I was already bored and never went back. Some sites also give you teasers, but will ask you to pay once you want to go beyond their teasers. When I accidentally stumbled on Spanishdict.com, in a few minutes I was already amazed by what's going on in here. Incredibly, everything is for free! Well, as they say, the best things in life are free. This site has practically taken control of my Internet time and as an addict would, I just keep on coming back for more.

Before discovering SpanishDict I did a lot less spanish; I had a BBC intermediate book called Sueños which was rather a big step-up from my free 'Learn Spanish in 6 weeks' books! Like Rikko I'd visited a couple of websites and feel similarly about them.

My big confession is that SpanishDict has cured me from 3 years of World of Warcraft addiction, I now use that time in the early morning, when I'm the only one awake, to get better at spanish. :D

Yes, I am indeed a SpanishDict addict. Last week, I was in Florida taking care of my parents. All I had for internet was a very weak signal from someone's wireless service nearby that would wax and wane every few minutes. It was frustrating to almost get a post done and have the connection be lost again and again. I persevered night and day for the whole time I was gone. I even tried checking at the airport, but I am not very knowledgeable about computers. I am glad to be back to my own wireless connection. I am really enjoying this site. Thank you SpanishDict!

This is quite a website that you think you will just be on once or twice a week then you go on 5 times a day for 3 hours each time.

Yeah...tell me about it!! raspberry

Today, I've talked to a colleague of mine who teaches Spanish and asked her if she could talk to me from time to time. But, unfortulately, the time is what she actually lacks.
