"torcí" is the pattern when you conjugate the word. But I couldn't find what is the basic pattern.

This would be the preterite of "torcer". It would follow the regular -ir preterite endings: torcí, torciste, torció, torcimos torcisteis, torcieron. "Torcí" means "I twisted (or sprained a part of the body)

It's from "torcer" which has a few meanings. If you put torcer in the search you will find more examples.

"Yo torci a la derecha" means "I turned right".
