Desde hace una semana estoy intendando enseñar a mi hijo a usar el baño. Sabe cómo hacer pis, pero no quiere hacer caca. Por esto, enseñárselo es un camino largo, muy sucio y maloliente. ¿Teneís algunos trucos para enseñar a un niño de dos años cómo hacerlo? Gracias por adelantado.
I've been trying to teach my son how to use a toilet for a week. He knows how to pee, but he won't poop. Because of this, teaching him to do it is a long, very dirty and smelly way to go. Have you got any tricks for teaching a two-year-old child how to do it? Thank you in advance.

The trick is to be big enough to admit your mistakes, smart enough to profit from them, and strong enough to correct them.

El truco es ser suficientemente grande admitir sus errores, suficientemente inteligente sacar provecho de ella y suficientemente fuerte corregir ella.

In Spanish when you say “sus” it narrows down the subject leaving the reader or listener with the impression that we are talking to a specific number of people. Directing our statement to someone in particular. By saying “los” you are including everyone as well as yourself. We all make mistakes, therefore “los errores” are everybody’s not just yours or theirs as “sus errores” seem to indicate.
