The meaning of "ajeno" is "of another" or "strange." So the sentence could mean "love of another" or "strange love."

bienvenida al foro, monk1es2! hope you find all the help you need!

as for your question, 'amor ajeno' would loosely translate into strange love, but is mostly used when it refers to 'someone else's love'.

errr.... maybe more context could help?

also, this site has an amazing dictionary, which you can find in the 5th tab under the search... i am fluent in spanish, yet i use it most times for synonyms.

again, welcome, and have a great stay at spanishdict!

Here is another use of "ajeno" that is almost poetic: "En este local incursionaron los amantes de lo ajeno" I saw this in an article about thieves who entered a store to steal the cash and cell phone of the woman who ran the store. "Amantes de lo ajeno" must be a way of saying "people who love other people's things so much they will steal them."

I believe the translation for this would be one of the following: "Faraway love" "Other love" "Alien love"
