Latin American Spanish

I have received a lovely e-mail plus music from a friend from Peru about Globalizacion. In the text appears the words "un cojudo peruano". Obviously I have a good guess but could somebody give me a peninsular Spanish equivalent please.

Hi Caza. The dictionary here says "cojudo" means dumb.

I got the following from Urban Dictionary:

"Cojudo" means Silly, #$%*, idiot, stupid, etc. Used mostly by peruvians. Significa Idiota, tonto, estupido, etc. Usado mayormente por Peruanos.

Thank you Marianne. I did´nt think the person who sent me the e-mail would use anything vulgar - caza Nov 5

In Argentina, "cojudo" means brave. And is not an insult at all.

Thank you. I don´t know what happened to my other two answers - they seem to have disappeared but I hope the senders have seen yours and Marianne´s explanations. - caza Nov 6
