I am asking how to translate "focus group", as in, I am conducting a focus group in order to better understand barriers to health care in under-served Latino communities.

I believe I have seen "grupo de enfoque" out there somewhere. This would certainly be a correct translation.

en español, en marketing, también se dice focus group, es lo más común, aunque algunos dicen grupo focal. Lo más acertado sería grupo de consumidores objetivos.
