We received a dusting of snow last night. ¿'Dusting' en Español?
I am trying to translate the phrase: 'a dusting of snow'. How would you say it? The dictionary and translator tool refers to the words 'polvo' and 'capa'. I'm not interested so much in the Spanish word for 'dusting' as much as a Spanish phrase that conveys that same idea. Any suggestions?

Hmmm, one of the definitions for 'rastro' is 'trace'. I hadn't thought of using that word. Has anyone else heard it said this way?
