ASK A QUESTION Why do I do flashcards and then recall first?

I have found that if I study in this order it sticks better in my long term memory:
- I study "flashcards" first.
- Then do "recall" pausing and using the "retry" feature until I get most of them correct.
- Then I do "recall,"
- Then "listen."
- Now I relax and listen to our lovely teacher and I get more out of the lesson, enjoy it more, and it sticks better in my long term memory. I hope this helps. Your opinions welcome and appreciated.

It is nice, however, that the lessons were designed with the flexibility to adapt them to whatever format that you choose or to select the order that you wish to do the lessons or even to skip the ones that you already feel proficient in. They really are a remarkable accomplishment and Paralee and the technical staff should justifiably feel proud of them.

I later changed my mind about doing this as my poor typing speed became discouraging. Although I do recomend this in the learning section especially for beginners.
