I set my GPS to help me learn driving directions in Spanish, which is fun and very useful. However, it seems to be saying "Siga dura tres millas a ..." or possibly "Siga dura de tres millas a ..." Dictionaries, Google, and the translations here don't seem to give a meaningful translation. Is it something like "Follow three miles longer..." ? Thanks for your help, Eeeker

"Siga durante tres millas..." Keep going for three miles. Great idea as a way to learn Spanish!

  • Oh, it's "durante" not "dura de"! Thanks so much, MountainGirl! (I have to say, the synthesized speech that the GPS puts out is not always ideal! - Eeeker Oct 30, 2009 flag
