ASK A QUESTION Which Spanish word is the most unpleasant to say?

I would have to agree that "higiénico" is not a very pleasant word to say.
But for me, I have always been frustrated with the word "Estacionamiento", which means "parking". Every time I'm in a Latin American country and see that sign, I feel exhausted just looking at it, let alone saying it. (jeje)
- Lol. Whats the word for "parking tickets", getting a parking ticket is probably double unpleasant... ;) - cheeseisyumm Oct 29, 2009 flag
I really dislike the word "imbécil" in any language. I think it's an ugly, mean word. On the other hand - the word "acne" is so ugly sounding in English, but in Spanish "acné" sounds a little romantically tragic..."Padezco de acné" has a sort of "Wuthering Heights" feeling to it, don't you think?
I remember one day going to the doctor with one of our kids. I will never forget what he said to us, my wife and myself: "Lo que el niño tiene es gingivoestomatitis herpética aguda"
Please do not ask me what this is. Doctors here might know. ![]()
Here we go again with my favourite.
otorrinolaringólogo
- That must be about the longest word in Spanish. If not, do you know what word is, Eddy? - 005457e3 Oct 29, 2009 flag
- And the answer is? Just Google. I did, to find this one: electroencefalografistas. I dare you to say that one! - 005457e3 Oct 29, 2009 flag
- No hay problema :P "electroencefalografistas" es fácil, pero "otorrinolaringólog" es una trabalengua. - Issabela Oct 29, 2009 flag
Para mí una palabra la más fea es "débil", porque significa "idiota" en mi lengua materna.
