Conjugation" means changing the verb to match a subject

True, as far as it goes but incomplete. In languages that have "inflected" verbs, there are usually several considerations that (taken together), determine the ending/form of the verb: person, number, tense and mood.

"Matching the subject" involves considering the first two but tense and mood are also factors.

Hi lay, please use correct spelling in your posts.

yes, conjugation means that, matching the verb to the subject, very important in Spanish as you don't actually use subjectswink

Partly, for aside from matching the subject, you also need to be aware of the tense to come up with the correct conjugation.

Hmmm, this sure sounds like a homework assignment for a Spanish I class!
