Que tal? I am trying to translate a quote, and feel as if I'm using that sort of "spanglish", where English speakers use Spanish words with English grammar. Because of this, I was wondering if someone could correct this quote for me. The quote in English says:

"During the ensuing centuries, that landscape was dramatically altered as water was pumped into the fields via wells, aqueducts, and huge creaking wheels, and formerly barren areas were tilled and cultivated."

I have (incorrectly) translated it as follows:

Durante la proxima sieglos, el paisaje cambiaron dramáticamente porque aqua fue bumbeado en los campos por pozos, acueductos y norias, y tierra antiguamente yerma fue labrado y cultivado.

Durante los siglos siguientes, el paisaje cambió dramáticamente al ser bombeada agua hacia los campos a través de pozos, acueductos y norias, y la tierra antiguamente yerma fue labrada y cultivada.
