I noticed that sometimes the word "Hombre" is used to react to a certain idea or news...like ¡Hombre!...is it like "¡No me digas!" and what's its equivalent expresion or reaction in English? Thanks smile I only would like to know in which sense the word "hombre" is used. because I know it literaly means "man", but I noticed it's used to react or express surprise may be? Thanks

Yes, it's kind of: "wow, man!"

Its the same in Canada (and probably in the USA). We might say, for example:

Oh, man! Everything is messed up.

Man oh man! What a mistake!

You are right, it depends on the entonation of the word hombre said like this.

¿Estás enamorada? Hoooooooooombre, si me preguntas así.......
