Crass adverts

Question

The site policy on 'clean' posts is excellent. But if my wife looks over my shoulder while I am perusing the site, all she can see at the moment is an advert for 'Meet Sexy Polish Girls'.

Does that have to be the de facto site banner?

I frequently get a lesbian dating ad...or some such.

If these are google AdSense ads, then I think certain categories can be blocked in the AdSense manager.

Just to add a comment (and maybe why Heidita doesn't see the ad):

There must be some truth in the fact that once you earn enough points you get reduced ads, because I don't get a banner ad where your screen shots show that you are seeing one.

Seeing the add about models wanting men who make at least $100,000 / year reminds me...

Did anyone else see the ad about desperate red neck women that still have most of their teeth and are ready to settle for YOU right now! ... all you have to do is prove you are NOT currently incarcerated and have worked at least 1 month (total) in the past year.

I know, I know...it sounds like one of those things that are "too good to be true," but I still want to check it out, and I haven't seen the ad for days and I can't find their site. :'-(
