Nací el 28 de mayo en Corea del Sur como un gemelo. Me quedé allí hace tres años y mis abuelos me criaron hasta que cumplí 5 años. A menudo yo veía mis padres todos fines de semana. De pequeño, era muy activo y educado y participaba mucho. Sin embargo, a veces me portaba mal y lloraba. Me gustaba ir al parque para dar de comer a las palomas. Durante al kindergarten, no me peleaba con mis amigos y era obediente a mis padres y profesoras. Mis juguetes favoritos eran las cartas de Yu-Gi-Oh!. Me encantaban jugar el fútbol, comer pizza y ver la tele. Recuerdo que tenía la peor pesadilla que mis padres se volvieron en las mantises religiosas. ¡Gracias por escuchar mi presentación!

HI victory, have a look at our reference section for the correct use of the tenses.

Before correcting your paragraph, have a look at the imperfect.

This tense is more or less equivalent to the was doing in English.

So in the first part you are saying:

I was staying there......and my grandparents were bringing me up ......

Me quedaba allí hace tres años y mis abuelos me criaban hasta tenía cinco años.

As you can see this is not what you wanted to say, go and correct the paragraph yourself considering what I have indicated and I will look at it again.

past tense is used when you're saying that something happened once and it's done with ex. "yo nací..." (i was born..)- the action happened and is over imperfect is used when something would happen repeatedly in the past ex. "tenía cinco años"-you were 5 years old for a period of time or when saying "jugaba con un perro"- here you're saying that you played with your dog repeatedly in the past, not on one occasion.

Makes no sense in English either.

My grandparents raised me until I was five. Mis abuelos me criaron hasta que cumplí los 5 años.

Used to can be transmitted as imperfect in Spanish, but it has to make sense.

Actually, the rest of the story is very good. Have a look at it again and post it here, copy and paste with your changes and I will correct it for you. Are you a boy?

¿gemelo o mellizo? (identical twin or fraternal twin?). I only ask because I know some identical twins and when they discuss their past everything is in terms of "we" rather than "I". I think you made an unusual psychological separation if you can describe your childhood without including your identical twin in the description.
