¿Es "un ticket" dicho correcto en Español?

Ha leyendo una frase: "¿Se puede comprar un ticket semanal?". Quería les preguntar si se puede decir "el ticket" en español, o solamente "el boleto" o "el billete".

Lo siento, no hay contexto. Esta es una frase de una página web con "frases útiles".

"El ticket" sea para el teleférico para esquiar.
