IO without 'para'

Hola:

Puedo traducir la frase siguiente sin problema:

My daughter hates the book that I bought for her.

Mi hija odia el libro que compré para ella.

Pero, quisiera construir la frase sin usar 'para', como:

My daughter hates the book I bought her

Es correcto decir:

Mi hija odia el libro que le compré.

Hola Martyn! Both are correct, but the second sentence sounds better (at least in Argentina)!!

Muchas gracias - el 'le' en verdad me confunde para un rato, pero convirtió más claro mientras escribí el ejemplo.
