Listen, it's really simple. If it has an 'o' ending, it's masculine, if it's an 'a' ending, it's feminine. 'E' endings are usually gender neutral. The gender of the adjective coincides with the gender of the noun. (e.g. el perro gordo/la perra gorda; el chico guapo/la chica guapa)
