What is the masculion version of the word interesante?

Also, what are the rules for changing (m) words to (f) words and the other way around?

Gracias,

I think interesente is masculine and feminine.

el hombre interesente, la mujer interesente

Usually, though, you change the terminal o to an a to switch an adjective from masculine to feminine.

el hombre cansado, la mujer cansada

  • If you look up cansado in our dictionary, it is shown as "cansado, -a" indicating to replace the o with a for feminine. If you look up interesente, it just says "interesente" indicating it is the same for both genders. - webdunce Oct 9, 2009 flag

, what are the rules for changing (m) words to (f) words

When the gender of some names is changed, the meanings of these names is also changed........naranja (orange) changed to naranjo ( orange tree)................ El editorial (editorial pages) changed to" la editorial" (publishing house).

Now, some nouns change gender by changing its article.......el artista (male artist.....la artista (female artsit)....el cantante( male singer) la cantante(female singer).....el interesante...he is interesting.....la interesante ...she is interesting, I am not sure if this part is correct, please help....**

  • Él/Ella es interesante – He/She is interesting. - InésDelRío Oct 10, 2009 flag
