What is the Spanish for "electrical screen" i.e.metal braid around a cable?

this is sometime known as the 'earth' and it is a braid or foil which protects a cable from electrical noise eg "3-core screened cable" = one with three conductors and an outer braid or foil which the conductors run inside. might be found in context of audio engineering.

"Malla" o "blindaje" are common names for this. Cable mallado" or "cable blindado" are the names for the cable.

It is also commonly called a shield in English, it is apparently known as "malla" en español.
