ASK A QUESTION verbs conjugations
Was wondering if anyone knows of an easier way to remember verb conjugations. I am having a hard time with this
yo compro bebo tú compras bebes él compra bebe ella compra bebe usted compra bebe nosotros compramos bebemos ellos compran beben ellas compran beben ustedes compran beben
and so on.I am currently taking a spanish course and the teacher says the only way is to memorize them all. At a certain age this becomes difficult. Was hoping there is a easier way to remember them.

Unfortunately there really is no magic solution to this, you really have to memorize them. What I remember doing to study the conjugations is just repeat the endings: "o, as, a, amos, aís, an" repeat ad nauseum.
Writing them down several times also helps, and you could even try to memorize an example sentence with a regular verb. For example, "¿Tu compras?" "¡Sí! ¡Yo compro!"
Hope that helps!
Hi Sheba The verb conjugations are probably the most difficult for English speakers to get to grips with - English is so much easier. To compensate for that that though Spanish is much easier in other respects. This site is fantastic for getting help and answers to your questions. Just keep going - do something every day.
I found writing them down again, and again, and again, really worked - always in the same order. Be careful mistakes don't creep in though, or you'll start to repeat those and be stuck with them.
Keep a master copy somewhere that you know is correct, and refer back to it periodically to ensure you're still repeating the right things.
