If you want to say "I am" you would say "Tengo trece años." Even if you are a girl, you still use "Tengo". Tengo is a verb; therefore, a form of "tener" (meaning "to have"). To say "Tengo trece años", you are saying "I have 13 years." Verbs do not change their endings between gender. However, they do change their endings between yo, tú, él/ella/usted, etc.
However, adjectives change between genders. So, if you say "el gato feo" vs "la gata fea" (the cat ugly), you need to change the ending on "feo", because "feo" is an adjective.
I hope that helps.
Your question seems unclear to me. Are you wanting to say that -you are 13- or that -she is 13-?
Tengo is I am
Tiene is he, she, or it...
Yes, Ian is correct. Give the translater a shot in the future. It can save you alot of time.
Why don't you say, "Soy una niña de trece años". Niña generally refers to a young female. A thirteen year old female may not necessarily want to be referred to as a girl.
seems like you kinda answered your own question, if some of the above answers don't help try to find another way to say it, tengo trece años-I am 13 years old, tiene trece años- she/he is 13 years old, or u could say ella tiene trece años. hope you find what you need..i agree give translator a try!
