I came across the word in "La cana," a short story by Emilia Pardo-Bazan, and can't figure out what it means in english. I have checked several sources (both online and in print) and can't find any translation. The sentence it appears in is:

"Una infecta posaducha de ultima fila."

Thanks in advance!
