"flaquito" I sense this means a little lazy or perezoso This appears in the song Mondo Bongo from the movie Mr.and Mrs. Smith. I got the Zapatista reference.
From Mondo Bongo song lyrics Mr. and Mrs. Smith
I'm looking for flaquito which I think it is flacito but that wouldn't pronounce right like un flaco mas ito

I found the following explanations:
A “flaquito” is a flour tortilla rolled around a filling (usually chicken or beef) and deep fried. A “flauta” is is flour (or corn) tortilla rolled around a filling and deep fried. A “taquito” is a corn (or flour) tortilla rolled around a filling and deep fried. Flaquitos are much less popular than the very similar (some would say identical) flautas and taquitos.
"Flaquito" is a diminuative of "flaco", meaning "thin, skinny" (may refer to either someone who is too thin or as a 'pet name' of someone we really like/love)
I think the context of the word would help to understand its meaning and usage.
I would be really thankful for some titles of spanish songs that can help me with lerning spanish. Do you know some from the most easy to a little more complicated?
thanks in advance ![]()
flaquito is a dimunitive of flaco/a - skinny used a lot in everyday speech
It's used as a colloquial term and it meaning is similar to "dude".
In another post someone asked for the meaning of gordita, flaquito is exactly the opposite of gordita and it is used too to refers affectingly to a male friend or relative.
