I was wondering what the correct preposition would be to use in the following sentence

You have saved me from a fate worse than death

I have thought that perhaps it could be desde or de or even sobre but I am not sure:

Me has salvado **sobre/desde/de un sino peor que la muerte.

¿Qué piensas tú?

De is your connector in this case. This person saved from the other thing. De la otra cosa. wink Desde would be I traveled desde Philly to Jersey. Sobre would be above all, sobre todo, el me saved de a fate worse then death. wink
