Blue turns to brown

Question

About the 2 blue boxes in columns on the left when a list of questions is shown, one box displays number of "Votes" and the other displays number of "Answers". Why does the "Answers" box change from blue to brown sometimes?

I am new here but could it have to do with the time a question has been posed and not been answered? Kind of like an overripe banana? :-I

It is yet an unanswered question. Ater reply it will turn blue.

eje, not really, niz, it just happens to all new questions which have no answer yet, can be new or old.

Click on the "unanswered" tab above and you will find some of the unanswered questions.
