¡Hola!, "herpri "

If "roña" was the correct word, then "Mange" is possibly the correct word in English. Here is on of the shorter English definitions for "mange":

Mange (noun)

Any of several chronic skin diseases of mammals caused by parasitic mites and characterized by skin lesions, itching, and loss of hair.

Hope this is some help to you. If "mange" is correct, you may get a better and fuller definition from your own dictionary, or perhaps you could "Google" it for more information.

I think it's "El perro está enroñado" and means that the dog has a skin disease.

Hi Moe

You have the adjective which is mange, however, the phrase is "está roñado" with an incorrect mange being used as the past aprticiple. Toni is correct with "está enroñado, where the verb enroñar means to be full of roña.

There are two forms of Mange , one being like eczema , which a lot of humans have , and the other is caused by a parasite that is highly contagious to humans and other animals including horses The poster needs to inform his friend of this condition and visit his doctor if he starts to itch , especially in the jock area ! .
