WordD!ct has a very useful box containing the following á é í ó ú ñ ¿ ¡

How can I create this box and pin it to my word or excell documents please?

Can I delete it upon completion of any Spanish exercise I may have completed, so that only the actual completed exercise is visible to the reader?

Gracias

I still say use the following link to set up your ability to type in spanish: http://www.studyspanish.com/accents/typing.htm#winXP

It is quick and easy to do and it doesn't effect your ability to type in English. smile

If you're using Word and Excel, you probably running Windows. Setting up an alternate/international keyboard allows you to use accents, etc. in almost any program (with one, consistent interface).

I totally agree with Jason and samdie.

However, if you are really intent on having the little box, the best options I can come up with are this site: spanish.typeit.org or using the built-in Character Map on your computer.

Both of those will require that you type your Spanish text there, then copy and paste it into your document. That's a hassle if you ask me. And also it's not very fast, which becomes a problem when you start working through the Spanish lessons on SpanishDict.com.
