In Sweden we have diffrent greetings. Formal and few informal ones or is it only hola in Spanish? jJust wondering if there are any relaxed greetings in Spanish.

I guess the most commons are "Hola" between young people, familiars and person that you know, "buenos Dìa", "Buenas Tarde" y "Buenas Noche" are formal greetings

Hi dnes, yes we have many relaxed greetings:

¿Qué tal andas?

¿Qué tal todo?

¿Cómo van las cosas?

Hola ¿todo bien?

¿pasa contigo tío? LOL (slang from Madrid)

  • Would one also say, "¿pasa contigo tía?" to a female? Or does it not work tht way? - Goyo Sep 9, 2009 flag
