ASK A QUESTION Hasta dónde llega el código genético de una persona?

Qué quieres decir? Tal vez debes decir en inglés y podemos tratar otra vez.
I think he (she) is trying to ask in which side does her nationality lie. But that changes depending on societal conditioning. For example, one is considered African American no matter if the mother or father is African American, but the same (flawed) logic doesn't hold true of other races. So I don't know.
- And even how a person can say "I'm German, Irish, Indian and Spanish, or some such craziness, is quite beyond my level of intelligence. - ChamacoMalo Sep 10, 2009 flag
Ah, I see. Because you are considered Jewish if your mother is Jewish but not Jewish if your mother is Jewish but your father isn't. On the other hand, you are right about African American and the same is true of Latinos generally speaking.
Si...eso mismo. But the reality is that is flawed logic. If you gave a genetic test to person with a African American mother and a European father, the test doesn't look at the parents and "oh..your black", or a Jewish mother and a Catholic father and "oh...your jewish". A genetic test tests genetics. So...the whole proposition is flawed and quite absurd.

There's nothing flawed about the genetic tests nor their interpretation. They accurately describe degree of relatedness. The flaws exist entirely with those who use such superficial criteria as skin pigmentation/language/country of birth/religion to define biological relatedness (although these same factors may have a great deal to say about the kind of person one [probably] is).
Me quiten la pista....pero esta bien...saban mejor que yo!!! ![]()
