Going to a bank

This is a big one, thank you in advance for anyone who can help me out...

In Madrid, I am going to a bank tomorrow to see if I can open a student checking account for the semester, until December. I feel like I should know how to say:

  1. I want to open a free student checking account.
  2. It will not cost anything per month to have an ATM card, correct? / I do not want to pay anything per month.
  3. There are no monthly fees, correct?
  4. Dame mi tarjeta de banco!

Muchas gracias!

This question should probably be directed to Heidita. She also lives in Madrid.

I do apologize Heidita. When I am typing, I often forget to capitalize some words. Thank you. - sarahjs Sep 7

Hi Joseph, I hope you like it here in Madrid grin

I want to open a free student checking account. Quiero abrir una cuenta corriente libre de gastos para estudiantes.

It will not cost anything per month to have an ATM card, correct? / I do not want to pay anything per month. ¿Es gratis la tarjeta a débito verdad? NO quiero pagar ninguna cuota mensual.

There are no monthly fees, correct? No hay gastos, ¿verdad?

Dame mi tarjeta de banco! ??? And you wanted to say....???
