Is that right?

Hi Jake, Correct spelling and punctuation is mandatory on this forum, thanks.

Sorry, schub, you also got the wrong word:

Pedro me presentó a María.

I was introduced by Pedro to María.

  • Literally, Pedro introduced me to Maria. - webdunce Sep 1, 2009 flag
  • I originally thought presentar, but looked up introducir in the dictionary and it translated as introduce, but I guess thats a different sense of introduce? Also, I thought you needed the indirect pronoun? Thanks! - schub Sep 1, 2009 flag

Good question, one I'm not ready to answer but I'm pretty sure " lo " doesn't belong there.

I think, if you have "Z introduced me to Y", it would be:

"Z le me introdujo a Y".

Indirect pronouns come before direct, so le before me.

I think that is... Z me introdujo (presentó) a Y. or Z me lo presentó.
